How DC Affiliate makes money — in plain terms, on one page.

Short answer. This site is free to read. Affiliate programs and product vendors pay us a commission when a reader signs up through our links. You never pay more because of it, and commissions never buy a score, a verdict or a rank.
How commissions work
You click
A link on this site takes you to a program’s signup page through our tracking path (/go/…), which records the click and campaign.
A cookie is set
The program remembers the referral for its cookie window — days to months, stated on every review.
You sign up or buy
If you complete the action inside the window, the program credits the referral to us.
We earn a percentage
The vendor pays us a share of the sale or a fixed bounty. If you cancel or get a refund inside the program’s terms, the commission is reversed — one more reason our rankings punish high refund rates.
What money can and cannot change
| Can change | Which programs we choose to add to the database and review. Coverage takes work, and we start where reader demand and earning potential are highest. |
|---|---|
| Cannot change | Scores, verdicts, or ranking order. Those are computed from tracked EPC, conversion, refund, cookie and payout data. A program cannot pay to move up, and a program that pays us nothing can still rank first. |
Coverage limits
We do not cover the whole market, and a missing program is not a verdict on it — it usually just means we have not scored it yet. Rankings compare the programs in our database, and every ranking page says so.
How to spot an affiliate link
Outbound program links on this site route through /go/ paths (for example, dcaffiliate.com/go/program-name). If a link leaves this site through /go/, assume it may earn us a commission. Plain links to sources, documentation and our own pages do not.
Networks we work through
| Network | What we track there |
|---|---|
| ClickBank | Digital products and their affiliate programs |
| JVZoo | Software and course launches |
| CJ Affiliate | Established brands and SaaS programs |
| Amazon Associates | Physical products where relevant |
| Direct programs | Vendors with public affiliate terms, tracked case by case |

Free products and samples
We do not accept payment for placement, sponsored reviews or sponsored rankings — there is no way to buy a position on this site. If a vendor gives us access to a product for hands-on testing, the review is badged TESTED, the access is noted on the page, and the score is computed the same way as every other score.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you believe a page does not follow this policy, tell us via the Contact page — disclosure questions go to the top of the queue.
