Terms of Use

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of dcaffiliate.com (the “Site”), operated by DC Affiliate (“we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Affiliate Disclosure. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who may use the Site
The Site is intended for people 16 and older. If you are under 18, use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. What the Site is
The Site publishes reviews, comparisons, buying guides and deal information for general informational purposes. Our reviews and rankings are opinions based on our evaluation at the time of writing. They are not professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your specific situation. Product features, prices, plans and offers change, and merchants control them. Confirm the current details with the merchant before you buy.
4. No sales on this Site
We do not sell products or services. Purchases you make through links on the Site are transactions between you and the merchant. The merchant’s terms govern pricing, payment, delivery, refunds, warranties, subscriptions, cancellations and support. We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for them. Some links are affiliate links; see our Affiliate Disclosure.
5. Third-party sites
The Site links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, availability or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk and under their terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or related systems;
- interfere with the Site’s operation, including by introducing malware or placing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- scrape, crawl or copy the Site’s content in bulk by automated means, except for search-engine indexing that follows our robots.txt;
- send us messages that are unlawful, abusive, or that infringe another person’s rights;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
7. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, graphics, logos, layout, comparison tables and other original content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the Site and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Any other copying, republication or commercial use requires our written permission. Third-party product names and trademarks belong to their owners; using them on the Site does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with those owners.
8. Your messages to us
If you send us feedback, suggestions or corrections, you allow us to use them to improve the Site without payment or obligation to you. We will not publish your name or contact details without your permission.
9. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email info@dcaffiliate.com with: identification of the work; the location of the material on the Site; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature.
10. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PRODUCT OR OFFER DESCRIBED ON THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR FROM ANY PURCHASE YOU MAKE FROM A MERCHANT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO YOU.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal fees arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at info@dcaffiliate.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.
14. Notice to California users
Under California Civil Code §1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice: the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210. The Site is free to use.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the current version. Changes apply from that date; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies referenced in section 1, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
